It's was a great 4 days attending various talks and workshops by great teachers coming from around the world. My brain sort of jam-packed with so much information... yet to sort out.
Their teachings, somewhere push me further deeper into myself; that almost like drilling into my core.
This trip was surely a fruitful ones, it sets me thinking, a lot--- not so much about the asanas, rather who i really am.
Rodney, impressed by how open and honest he could be, with regard to his year long practices. That being truthful and following his breath in his practice--- may not neccesarily give him the "wow" of vinyasa; which he used to be able to do it on videos. But so what? He emphazied that " Yoga, is not contortionism."
Great light-hearted teachers:
Jason nemer, who started his class with a nice chant strumming the guitar lele.. love that! Partnering works, that " no man is an island", we help one another to fulfil our dreams. How we work hard for something easier, no harder. Handstand challanging by itself, that gathers so much fear before it is perform. Partner support, trust comes in, to make things so much easier.
Martin kirk, a real happy man. For his "power of love by saying NO"--- tapping from the arts of parenting ( with his boy, jonathan). And how such concept can apply to our lives, relationships and arm- balances.
i love how Sadie talked about our inner core, much beyond the abdominal muscles group. We want not the physical six-pacs, we want the strength within, and the softness in the skin. Being just who we are totally, not having to please others, why should we? Yes, and of course practices in rock music:)
Are our action supported by fear or truth?--- Satya.
i adore the fact that each teacher comfortable with how different they are from the rest. Holding on to the authenticity of their beliefs and grind them through for years--- because they have such strong faith with what they are doing--- Shraddha.
There's no miracle in yoga. No such thing as being lucky. Its purely quiet hard work and persistence that people do no see. Its about how to be ourselves--- original.
